AI made simple.
Even when the answer is not AI.

Nobody knows exactly where AI is going. That's precisely why your next decisions matter. We help you make them calmly — simplify first, automate cheaply, use AI only where it pays, and bring your people with you.

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex… It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction."

— E.F. Schumacher  ·  often credited to Einstein. We checked. That's the kind of firm we are.

Sound familiar?

You're not behind, and you're not alone. Here's what CEOs tell us keeps them up at night. Tap a card for the honest answer.

"Every AI expert I talk to makes it sound more complicated."

Our answer →

Complexity sells retainers. We do the opposite: as simple as it can be, but not simpler — and we explain everything in plain English.

"What happens to the price once my business depends on their tool?"

Our answer →

Fair question — 2.7 million Australians saw a 45% price rise after AI was bundled into software they couldn't easily leave. We build systems you own — no ongoing token bill, no lock-in. Not even to us.Source: ACCC v Microsoft, Federal Court of Australia, 2025

"How will my people react? Resist it — or use it behind my back?"

Our answer →

Both are already happening: about 1 in 3 ANZ employees uses AI tools their boss doesn't know about, while others quietly refuse. Adoption is a habit-change problem — our deepest expertise.Sources: ELMO Employee Sentiment Index & Employment Hero, 2026

"Does bringing in AI mean letting people go?"

Our answer →

No. The best ROI comes from removing tedious work, not people. We design adoption so your team gets more capable — that's why they end up embracing it.

"We tried ChatGPT for a month and… nothing really changed."

Our answer →

That's the norm, not a failure: about 95% of AI pilots show no measurable return. The fix is process first, tools second, habits third.Source: MIT NANDA, The GenAI Divide, 2025

"Is my team already pasting client data into free AI tools?"

Our answer →

Statistically, probably yes. We set up safe, private ways of working before it becomes a headline.Source: ELMO Employee Sentiment Index, 2025–26 — ~1 in 3 use unapproved AI tools

This is genuinely confusing terrain. We walk it every day.

Nobody can tell you where AI will be in five years — anyone who claims to is selling something. What we can do is help you make the best possible decisions for your company with what's known today: where AI pays, where it doesn't, and how to bring your people with you. Calmly, step by step, in plain English. We've got you.

PILLAR 01

Honest engineering

We'll tell you when you don't need AI. Often a simplified process plus a smart automation — built once, owned by you, zero ongoing cost — beats an AI subscription forever.

PILLAR 02

Simplify before you automate

Automating a messy process just makes bad things happen faster. McKinsey-grade process redesign comes first. As simple as it can be, but not simpler.

PILLAR 03

Change that sticks

70% of AI success is people and process, not technology. Habit change is designed into every engagement — not hoped for at the end.Source: BCG, 2024

What we do

From one CEO to your whole company.

Coach

  • Individual CEO coaching — private, no-stupid-questions AI fluency for the person steering the ship
  • Coaching for specific departments or individual team members

Train & adopt

  • Group AI adoption programs
  • Company-wide adoption in small groups of ~10
  • Train-the-trainer for larger companies — big reach, low cost per head
  • Habit-change methodology so it sticks

Simplify & decide

  • Process simplification before any tech decision
  • The AI / no-AI / automation triage for every process
  • ROI math before any build — token math included

Build

  • Custom AI agents and complete IT systems — AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Microsoft
  • Integrations with what you already run — Xero, CRMs, even legacy servers
  • Code debugging and rescue

A small senior team. You'll always deal directly with the founders.

Our signature

A good doctor knows when to cut. A great one knows when not to.

An AI agent consumes paid tokens every single time it runs — every monthly report, every mail-out, every cycle of the process. Forever. And token prices are set by the AI companies, not by you.

Building costs the same either way. So, whenever possible, we only use AI where it's unbeatable — building — and hand you an automation that does the same recurring job with zero tokens per run. You own it, it runs for years, and rising token prices become someone else's problem.

We use AI to build your system.
Then the system runs free.

And when AI is the right engine — judgment, language, messy documents — we build that too, token-efficient by design.

Year 1 → Year 3 Cumulative cost AI agent — tokens every run …if token prices rise automation — no tokens
Illustrative 3-year cost of a recurring process. The build costs the same either way — what differs is every run after it.
The evidence

The research is blunt. It's also good news — if you act on it.

95%

MIT studied hundreds of enterprise AI pilots: 95% delivered no measurable P&L impact — and external partners succeeded roughly twice as often as internal builds. The three main reasons projects fail:

  • Poor data quality — we fix the data and the process behind it.
  • ✓✓IT-led instead of business-led — every engagement here is led from the business problem, by people who've run businesses.
  • ✓✓Not enough change management — habit and culture change is our deepest expertise.

We cover all three. The last two are our home turf.

Who we are

Two founders. Both senior. Both hands-on.

Damian Lodge, co-founder of Infinitas Tech

Damian Lodge

Co-founder · Technology

Damian has spent 25 years making technology do what businesses actually need. A computer scientist by training, he founded Infinitas Limited in 2011 and has been building ever since: custom CRMs, cloud infrastructure on AWS, e-commerce and booking platforms, ad-automation systems managing $1M/year in spend, and a flawless GDPR transition across Europe. As CEO of a digital agency he tripled clients' revenue; as president of a global organisation he rolled out a complete CRM and business platform across 33 countries and cut costs by automating admin end to end. Today he builds AI apps, agents, complete IT systems, and integrations on any stack — and he'll happily debug the code nobody else wants to touch.

Damian's rule: the best system is the simplest one that does the job.

Miriam Claes, co-founder of Infinitas Tech

Miriam Claes

Co-founder · Strategy & Adoption

Miriam spent seven years at McKinsey & Company advising boards and executives across the US, Europe and Africa, then two decades leading businesses herself — including as CEO of a 400-person company she took through a $40M private-equity deal. She holds an MBA from Kellogg (top 3% of her class, Fulbright Fellow). Her specialty is the human side of change: she built habit-change programs achieving 98% satisfaction and 89% measured behaviour change, and designed 'From Prompting to Agents', a certified AI capability program that took client teams from frontline to boardroom with 100% customer satisfaction. She is available to speak to CEO groups across New Zealand and Australia on AI adoption that actually works.

Miriam's rule: adoption is a habit, not a mandate.
